Welcome to the Omaha GLBT Sports League. The league is dedicated to the development and promotion of sports within the GLBT community of Omaha, NE and its surrounding areas. We strive to provide a fun and safe environment in which players 19 and over are encouraged to participate regardless of skill level or experience.
The Omaha GLBT
Sports League is based on a FUN, fair, and balanced system where individuals can play on a level playing field. Teams are mixed up to include players of all skill levels and abilities. This is to ensure a fun environment for everyone. Any level of player is invited to play, from the beginner to advanced. This is also a great opportunity if a player is new to a sport to learn in a supportive environment. The league also offers a great opportunity to meet other people in a relaxed venue.
The league offers three seasons which include volleyball (fall and winter seasons), softball (spring/summer), and flag football (fall). In addition, several one-day events are sponsored including bowling, kickball, and dodgeball. The league is open to all members of the GLBT community and allies 19 and over.

 Dodgeball registration is now open! Get your teams ready to play in this one-day double elimination tournament. This year, the tournament will be held at Christie Heights Gym on March 24th starting at 11:00 AM. Sign up now as a team or individual! The cost is $10 per player. Click here to register.

Schedules for the season are posted in the area on the right. Even if you are not on a team, come by and support the players -- there is plenty of seating available for fans to watch and cheer on the teams. This year, the matches will be played at Oasis Sports Center (MAP) beginning at 6:00 PM on Sunday evenings.

Softball Bigger and Better |

The 2012 softball season is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. The sports league is working with the city for an upgraded location, modern restroom facilities, and concessions. Registration will open shortly for what will be the biggest and best season of softball to date. Stay tuned for more exciting details.
